Hello! My name is Leanne, a passionate artist with a unique journey into the world of painting barn quilts. It all began during a memorable cross-country road trip with my husband, where barn quilts are everywhere.

I stumbled upon the captivating world of barn quilts and was instantly drawn to their colorful and intricate designs. Eager to learn more about their history and significance, I delved into researching these unique works of art. To my delight, I discovered that there was an accomplished author, Talara Parrish, renowned for her insightful books on barn quilts, who happened to reside not far from where we are staying.
 

Fueled by curiosity and a passion for the subject, I reached out to her, hoping to glean some firsthand knowledge and perhaps even forge a connection. Little did I know that this serendipitous encounter would mark the beginning of an enriching journey into the world of barn quilts. Mesmerized by the intricate patterns, vibrant colors, and rich history behind these traditional artworks I found myself drawn to the art form and decided to give it a try. I ended up painting my first barn quilt on vacation.
 

I felt compelled to take my interest to the next level and decided to apply to become a Barn Quilt Headquarters artist for the Pacific Northwest region. Today, painting barn quilts has become not just a hobby, but a passion that fuels my creativity and enriches my soul.
