Class Description

Unleash your creativity with Scot- Beginners class at Blue Ridge Arts Center. All materials and supplies are included, so you can dive right into creating your own beautiful barn quilt! Choose from 16 pre-drawn patterns, and your choice of paint colors. Once finished, protect your artwork with spar urethane sealer with UV protection. At Blue Ridge Arts Center, we charge based on the project you choose, allowing you to create a personalized art experience while enjoying our retail location. Work at your own pace, take breaks as needed and work over several days if desired to complete your barn quilt. Enjoy new friends and fellowship in a this fun filled class for beginners. No painting experience necessary. Available patterns for Beginners shown below. Class begins promptly at 10:00 am on the 4th Saturday of the month. (Excluding December) Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and something you don't mind getting a little paint on. A refrigerator and microwave is available for personal use if desired for lunch. Several great restaurants are available close by also. Snacks and water provided. Class size is limited. Once you register, Scot will contact you directly via email, with a link for payment. A 50% deposit is required and the balance three (3) days prior to scheduled class. Price per barn quilt $125 Contact Scot to invite to your group or organization or to schedule private class, if interested. If a private class is desired, that is also a possibility with Scot. A refund will be considered on a case by case basis. All monies paid will be applied to a future class date if you need to reschedule.
