Accommodations Are Beautiful! Unleash your creative side at our BQ Weekend Paint Party Social on November 7-10th. Join us for a relaxing and fun-filled weekend where you can meet new friends and indulge in your passion for painting barn quilts. Whether you're a seasoned painter or a beginner, this event is open to all levels. With a new and exciting project to work on, and a breathtaking cabin to enjoy, this weekend is all about relaxation and creativity. Don't forget to bring your swimsuit to take a dip in the hot tub! Common areas will allow for plenty of space for meals and projects. The total cost per guest is $480 unless a queen/king alone and then additional $20 applies. Companions not painting would be $200 each. **** Direct any and all questions regarding the event to barnquiltheadquarters@outlook.com**** The venue is not involved in the planning or execution of the event. We would be checking in at 3:00 pm on Nov 7th. Rooms would be assigned at the time of registration. (Room preference option to follow). Check out would be on Nov 10th by 10:am. Planned project for the group: Barn Quilt Ladders with four 1x1 Seasonal patterns on one side. The opposite side of each would be a pattern of choice. Fee includes AC, ladder rack, paint and all supplies to complete the project. The ladders will be unfinished and you can bring your paint or stain to finish those if you desired on site. Planned meals are a country breakfast one morning including biscuits, sausage, eggs, baked apples, home fries, and gravy. A pancake breakfast the second morning and fresh fruit. Morning of check out TBD. Lunch on the 8th will be a salad bar. Lunch on the 9th would be sandwiches or wraps made in house (turkey, ham, roast beef). Group diner out at local establishment all evenings if desired. The option to plan a meal in house is also an option such as a spaghetti dinner or ordering pizza. Cost not included in fee for dinners. There is a large kitchen and feel free to contribute to snacks, sweets, and please bring your choice of beverage(s). Soft drink, wine, beer, coffee, etc. We will provide water. IF unable to fill the venue and host has to cancel, your deposit will be refunded on Sept 7th. No refunds and otherwise.
