A fun filled 3 days! Join us at the beautiful Ponderosa Quilt Retreat in Waynesville, NC. Dates are April 3-6th. This charming location is perfect for fun and fellowship & painting barn quilt! Join Deborah May of Barn Quilt Express for a unique and beautiful project for indoor display. Perfect for the quilter or barn quilt artist. Deborah's Vintage Sewing project is different and she will guide you through the techniques to make your project one to be admired for years to come. She will provide all materials including Swarovski Crystals that will adorn your choice of floral embellishments. This is not your ordinary barn quilt project. (Value $160) Talara Parrish of Barn Quilt Headquarters will be the instructor for the second day project. Day 1 will be instruction her unique technique that she has perfected for a Wood Grain look on aluminum composite. This skill is an added creative way to give a vintage or rustic, aged look to any barn quilt pattern. She will be providing 2x2 aluminum composite and all supplies with one exception. You will need to bring a "Purdy 1.5" Stiff Angle" brush. (Value $140) Link to order the required brush: https://amzn.to/3Wnt0VE Breakfast will be served as part of the Ponderosa Quilt Retreat BNB. We will announce additional plans for lunch and plan on dinner out as a group at local restaurants in the area. Each person will be responsible for meal expense other than breakfast. Feel free to bring snacks, sweets and preferred drink. Wine is fine. Grazing the snack bar is 1/2 the fun. Space is limited to 8 participants. Refunds are not available but may be applied to a future class. . Price is $500 per person. Check in will be at 3:00 on April 3rd and check out at 11.00 on April 6th. Meet and Greet will be at 4:30 pm and we will depart for dinner 6:30pm for a location to be determined. Price includes accommodations, scheduled barn quilt classes, breakfast. Lunch and dinner at each guest expense.
